Childrain

This explosive quartet got together a decade ago in the city of Vila-Real in Valencia, Spain, having Formed in Vitoria-Gasteiz in 2008, CHILDRAIN are a young quintet that play a modern metal style, whose influences range from the first Metallica albums to Lamb of God, combining these references with a clear devotion to the melodic hardcore from the 90s. They emerged on the scene in 2009 with their first studio recording, an EP titled «The Place Between Hell and Heaven», now totally sold-out. Two years and many shows later, they finally released what would be their debut LP, «Life Show». Revealing a strong work ethic and a unique identity, the two albums were received with much praise by the press and, throughout their short but very promising career, the quintet formed by Iñi on vocals, Iker and Álvaro on guitars, Rodri on bass and Mikel on drums, shared stages with bands like Napalm Death or Hatebreed, and are perceived as one of the most exciting proposals coming out of Spain. Then came the third and fourth albums, «A Fairy Tale for the Dissent» and «Matheria», in 2013 and 2015, respectively, with the band cementing their seemingly unstoppable rise in the Spanish underground movement.
